Nokia 6210

This is a cool new navigator phone. This has got all new features like 3G, EDGE, HSCSD, Bluetooth, WiFi and many more. It has 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus and flash. There is also a secondary camera for video call facility. There is a built in GPS receiver with A-GPS configuration. There are also additional features like push to talk, office support and accelerometer rotation.

Nokia N82 black

After many rumours it has been confirmed that N82, the Nokia's best camera phone will be available as a black variant too. This phone has features same as normal N82 with 5 mega pixel camera, GPS, Wifi and 2.4" LCD screen with 16 million colors. The black model looks stunning more than its predecessor silver. All it needed was just a re-painting. Black will hit the shops very soon. So be ready to grab one.

Nokia E65

Generally people will not prefer slider phones due to the fact that the movable parts will wear out pretty soon. But there is no stopping for this all new E65. It is too hot to handle. This is a business class phone with some artistic work. The navigation is not at all problem. The keys are well laid out and back light is good. The camera and the music player are pretty ordinary.
The quick office software is provided. But editing word and excel documents is a tedious task. The GPS is bundled with the phone and works well with any Bluetooth device. The specialty of the phone is its text-to speech module. It can read out contacts, phone numbers, call history, etc. The phone is still slow especially when using the voice features and other related things. The low memory shows itself. The battery life is good. The net browsing is trouble free. Signal reception quality is moderate. Overall rating for this one is 3.6 out of 5

Nokia E51

Nokia E51 boasts with a 2 inch display having 16 million colors. The resolution 240 X 300 is very high for a small display phone like this. The screen is completely legible even at the direct sunlight. The keypad is different from other normal Nokia sets. There are dedicated keys for contacts, Calendar, email and my home. The keypad is easy to operate with a lot of space in between each keys. This phone has 130 mb of internal memory and hence you can do a lot of tasks side-by-side without slowing down your phone. There is a microSD slot available for you so that you can expand the memory upto 4 gb. World mate, an application targeting frequent fliers, comes bundled with the phone.
There are lot of connectivity options. The phone has 3G quad band technology, HSDPA, WiFi, Micro USB, Bluetooth and IR. The multimedia parts include a 2 mega pixel camera and a good music player with FM. The signal reception is good. The internet browsing just got better with the new web browser. The speaker quality is also a good one. Overall this phone gets 4.1 out of 5.

Nokia n81 8gb

The advent of n81 marked a new beginning for Nokia. It marks the entry of nokia into music related services similar to Apple. Like some other Nokia phones, this one comes in two variants. The first one is a normal edition with a card slot. The second one is the music edition with 8gb flash memory sans memory card slot. This phone is pretty handsome in its looks and its usage. The slider mechanism is ok. There is a huge display in the form of 2.4 inch display. Just below the screen is the navigational console. The D-pad acts as a touch sensitive scroll wheel but the keys can also be used as regular keys.
The music is similar to n95. The company ear phones are good. The storage space offered is so large that you can transfer your entire collection into it. The transfer speeds are also high. The camera is the worst part of the phone. It is just a 2 mega pixel one. It is definitely not equal to the higher end phones. Internet browsing is good. But overall this phone gets only 3.75 out of 5.

Nokia n95 8gb

This new mobile just got better. I can go on and say that this is the best phone in the market right now!!! Yes it's true. The navigational controls are totally revamped. The buttons are easy to use and the processor is super fast. The Music quality is better than the ordinary n95 but still a long way to go to reach heights of the latest w series phones. The camera is another good feature of this phone. It performs ultimately in outdoors and brightly lit conditions. But in the dimmer side, the sharpness is a bit lacking. The flash quality is great. But it is disappointing to see that the lens cover has been removed and it might be exposed to some damage, if mishandled. The phone comes with 160mb internal memory and an extended 8gb of flash memory. There is no way of increasing the memory, no card slots (you wont require them either). There is a fully functional GPS and a super fast WiFi. There are bluetooth and FM radio too in this phone. This new phone comes up with a new battery that has few more hours of life than the ordinary n95. I got battery life of two days under nominal use. In conclusion, it is a superb convergence device. My rating is 3.9 out of 5.

Camera mobiles - ISO Specifications

The important things that you should note while buying a camera mobile or any other camera is its ISO specifications. The ISO specifications determine the amount of light entering through the aperture. There has to be a fine balance with the amount of light entering your camera and the time for which your aperture should be open. If your aperture time is too high, the camera's sensitivity will be high and you can capture the darker images without much image noise. But high aperture time will reduce the image stabilization and also add to image noise. So there has to be some trade-off.

There are different levels of ISO and shutter speed. Nokia N95 uses 1/111 and ISO 200 whereas Sony Ericsson k850i uses 1/30 and ISO 64. The above images are taken with fixed shutter speed and aperture value. Bear in mind that the ISO and the shutter speed are the two elements that determine the amount of light that is to be captured, when you have a fixed aperture size. A slower shutter speed allows more light to reach to the matrix. A higher ISO makes the matrix more sensitive to the light that comes in. However it's a really fine balance between these two, since the higher the ISO is, the more noise there is on the image. The slower the shutter speed, the more likely you are to get a blurry picture due to camera shake. The camera software has to balance those two in the best possible way to avoid both blurring and noise. Sometimes one is taken care of at the expense of the other - it's up to the camera to decide, really.
The following explanations might help you in better understanding of this concept:

ISO 100:	Great for bright sunny days, at the beach or on the snow. Produces clean images that are great for enlargements.
ISO 200:	Great for overcast daylight pictures (noise levels may increase, but in most cases not noticeably)
ISO 400:	Great for lower lighting conditions (indoors, night time) or when you need to capture faster moving subjects in lower lighting conditions. In many consumer cameras, ISO 400 can make photos look very noisy in dark areas of the picture. The reason a higher speed ISO helps you capture fast moving subjects is because a higher ISO makes the image sensor of the camera more light sensitive. This forces the camera to use a higher shutter speed to compensate for the extra brightness, which in turn helps to "freeze" movement in the captured frame.

So depending upon your choice you can choose your camera or mobile with high or low ISO and shutter speed specifications.
